Mickaël Conte was born in Libourne. Trained at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional of Bordeaux from 2001, he got into the Ballet Biarritz Junior in 2006, before joining the CCN – Ballet de Lorraine, directed by Didier Deschamps, in Nancy the following year. He finally joined Malandain Ballet Biarritz in 2011.
