Julen Rodriguez Flores was born in Ibarra (Spain). He began by Basque dancing before moving out to Madrid at the age of 17 in order to study classical and contemporary dance at the Mariemma Conservatory. He started his career in Madrid with the Metamorphosis Dance Company, before joining San Sebastián’s Dantzaz company in 2019. He joined Malandain Ballet Biarritz in july 2021.
